In this book the author has tried to give the chronological events leading to the 2008 U.S. presidential elections, which ushered President Obama into the White House. The purpose of this book is to provide some material information for classroom instruction. This book may serve as social studies material for K-12 students. This book will also provide some in-depth information for the reading pleasure of folks who love history, especially the rich and fascinating presidential history of the United States.
