Doug Moody’s play Opportunities Squandered takes us to a high school where a group of ‘B Grade’ students decide to enter a talent contest.
The teaching staff neither have the desire nor the inclination to assist the students in their quest for stardom so the school cleaner is sucked into helping them.
The poor cleaner can’t stand the thought of opportunities being squandered however his good deed could end up doing for him and his career when ugly rumours begin to circulate and envious teaching staff decide to stab him in the back.
Will the kids go for gold? Will the cleaner be shafted? All will be revealed in this exceedingly good study of human nature.
