Pulmonary and critical care medicine
Endocrinology
Infectious disease
Nephrology and hypertension

Geriatric medicine
The goal of this program is to improve the diagnosis of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the diagnosis and management of cardiorenal syndrome (CRS). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1: Screen patients for microalbuminuria.
2: Detect the presence of microscopic hematuria.
3: Use the estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR)
calculation to assess the patient’s renal function and guide treatment.
4: Recognize the different hemodynamic presentations of CRS.
5: Individualize treatment to manage each patient’s specific form of CRS.
