The Starbabe, Moonie, who can live in the vacuum of outer space without any life support systems, embarks on one of her most complex stories. She begins as a robot involved in retrieving the valuable jewels "The Eyes of Hub" for its true owners. The robot Moonie is dissolved during the caper but her friends, the Captain and crew, deliver the precious stones after her destruction. The original thieves are now searching for the Captain for revenge. A human Moonie, on which the robot Moonie was based, offers to help the Captain and crew, by sending them on a mission but they crash on the asteroid, Eros II. Here the survivors build a base and begin experiments which changes the cargo of the crashed ship into the Starbabes. Moonie is the first Starbabe to emerge from the birthing tanks where she must face the "Eyes of Hub" thieves who have enough fire power to turn Eros II into dust.
