In recent years, the effectiveness of evangelistic outreach hasn't made great strides in turning people to Christ--and in fact, we're falling behind the rate of population growth. In this study of Southern Baptist churches in Georgia, Dr. Steve Parr and Dr. Thomas Crites describe the nature of the dilemma, but they don't stop there. They clearly outline what it takes for pastors and other church leaders to become dynamic, effective "Difference Makers"--men and women who have a heart for God, love those are lost, confidence in the Spirit of God to change lives, and a strategy to reach into the culture to touch the hearts of every person.
