Death Line is based on a true story, set in a small Midwest town, which has one hospital. The hospital is under control by the local catholic church. The main character is Taylor Bradford, a youth pastor of a non-denominational Christian Church, who is losing her Grandfather. She has the fight of her life taking on the hospital and the Catholic Church for truth and justice. Taylor's Grandfather is the only witness of a hospital conspiracy to cover up the death of a patient. This novel brings the faults of the healthcare system and the doctors who embrace it to the forefront. With faith in the background it shines light on the need of faith in time of struggle, no matter what your beliefs are. From: M.L. "I wrote "Death Line" 7 years ago and not till the loss of a dear friend in May of 2013, did I start the quest to publish it for myself. I have been ridiculed for using a self publisher, but since this is my first published work, self publishing was the best course. Editing is not my strong point. I am a creative writer and I prefer to not edit. I have left that up to CreateSpace, the printer/publisher, and a few friends. I advise each of you, if you are looking for a perfect book, this is not it. If you are looking for a suspense filled story with faith that will make you think, this is it. Writing "Death Line" was a way to release anger and deal with the loss of a loved one, too soon departed. I have been asked, did this really happen? My answer is always the same, 75% of the story is truth and 25% is fiction. I have heard many stories from others who have gone through simlar experiences and I am hoping to make everyone more aware of our flawed healthcare system."
