In the isolated North Western part of Australia the Kimberley region is the home of sprawling cattle stations, often larger than some small European countries.
It is in this environment while fishing for a huge elusive and legendary barramundi fish that three Aussie kids discover two children washed up on their coastline. With their boat sunk on their illegal attempt to enter Australia, the brother and sister are befriended by the local children and hidden from authorities until another illegal survivor threatens intervenes.
The adventures unfold on the back of barramundi fishing, rescuing dugongs, aboriginal ceremonies and cattle musters in the lives of outback children.
