Excerpt:
L'iori particularly seemed to like the crabs, although everything that was given to him was eventually devoured. The two just sat there for a while, talking lightly and doing plenty of gazing. Such closeness just made Brandon feel more and more weird inside, and he knew that he was getting smitten. However, he also knew that it was best to try and contain the affection since their time was very limited.
Brandon additionally tried not to think about the fact that once L'iori was gone, he was likely gone for good.
At the end of the day, Brandon finally announced that he would be heading to bed. “I'll be back here first thing in the morning to check on you.”
L'iori nodded, reaching out with a webbed hand to grab Brandon's arm as he began to rise. He tugged him back down, slipping a tentacle from the bath to slide along the back of Brandon's head, bringing him down for a kiss. “Good night,” he murmured against Brandon's lips.
